Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actor. Her debut on screen was in The Channel 4 film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. The actress is fluent in French, German and English. Her mother was a violinist, Her father is a theatre professor at one of Romania's best theater schools. Won the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award for The Young Actor Gala Mangalia. It was the European Film Promotion Board named her as a European Shooting Star in 2008. She was a teacher for four year in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria is an Romanian Actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca is a Romanian actress, who made her debut appearance on screen in Sex Traffic, a British-Canadian TV movie for where she won the British Academy Television Award as Best actress. Alongside her impressive performance in her debut film The actress will also be remembered for her part in the Romanian Arts Film 4 months 3 weeks, 2 days which earned her many prizes, including an award called the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. In 2007, she appeared in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 week si 2 days (4 Months 3 Weeks and 2 days) made by Cristian Mungiu. The film was awarded the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other awards (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI prize). Also, she starred in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she appeared as Yasim Anwar for the BBC 5-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca starred in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. She then had an important role in 2014's Fury which featured her as Irma who was the German aunt of Emma.
