Mary McCormack is an American actress known for her leading roles in the TV show 'Murder One', 'The West Wing', 'In Plain Sight' as well as Loaded. Also, she is well-known for her roles in movies such as "Private Parts," "Deep Impact', 'True crime and 1408'. She was born to a psychologist as well as an ice cream shop owner, McCormack hails from a family with no direct links to the entertainment field. After her parents divorced in 1990 she attended Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and earned a BA in Comparative Arts. When she was just 12 when she began her stage career, it started with a performance of "Amahl The Night Visitor, and Amahl" which was a Christmas opera. The actress continued her performances at the theater before landing a role both on the small screen and on the large screen. McCormack has been regarded as one of Hollywood's most versatile actors. Michael Morris (producer/director) is McCormack's husband. McCormack and Morris have three daughters.
