Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American actress and singer. Parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Bell was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and father that was German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment as a young stage of her life. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother prior to the age 13 and she was subsequently hired as a model for advertisements on television and newspapers. In addition, she is beginning classes in acting for herself. Bell was on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club in Shrine Catholic High School. In her school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell was then transferred in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell left the university in 2001 and began playing the role of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In the was the same year that she also had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell appeared featured in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
