Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actress, best known for her role in the movies 'Beta, Saajan' and 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun ..!' She started her career in the 80s and gained fame with her part in the film 'Tezaab', in which she was a part of the cast alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. Her next appearance was in the film 'Dil' which she starred with Aamir Khan. She was born into an Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing from a young age. She ventured into acting as a youngster and was a struggle for a few years, as the majority of her initial films ended up being flops. However, she eventually became successful and was one of the most renowned actors in Indian film. She stopped her profession following her wedding before returning to the entertainment business. Dixit was also an integral role in the movie 'Gulaab Gang,' which focused on the struggles of Indian women. Dixit is nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she received eight. She also received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian honour. She is also famous for her charitable work.
